Kids aged 5 to 12 can get hands on with kite guru Michael Alvares from Kite Kinetics to build and jazz up their own hexagon kite. Youll pick up some kite history and science along the way, then take the flying contraption home, hopefully without it tangling in the nearest tree.

It costs a cheeky $5, and its on Thursday 15 January 2026 from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Bunbury Public Library on 2 Parkfield Street, Bunbury WA 6230, Australia. Perfect for little ones who fancy something airborne over screen time.
