Ever stared at a stack of paper or a shoebox of faded photos and wished they would just magically beam themselves onto your computer screen so you could email them to Brenda or show off your regrettable 80s haircut to the grandkids. Well, magic might be a stretch, but Bunbury Library has something pretty close. They are putting on a free session called Tech in the Library: Digitising Documents and Photos. It is all about getting comfortable with the library's free scanning equipment and turning those physical memories and bits of paper into digital files.

You will pick up some handy tips on how to squirrel away those digital documents so they do not vanish into the internet abyss and learn the best way to send them on their merry way to whoever needs to see them. This session is designed to give you a bit more confidence with the tech world without making your brain hurt. It is happening at the Bunbury Public Library on Monday 18 August 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. It is a free event, but you will need to book a spot if you fancy coming along.
