Looking for something a little different to do this Valentine’s Day?
Come along to the ever-popular Save the Children Summer Book Sale at UWA and spend the weekend exploring thousands of incredible books.
Taking place on 14 and 15 February 2025 at Hackett Café at the University of Western Australia, this special sale offers thousands of donated titles at low prices to delight booklovers of all ages.
This year, the standout feature is a comprehensive collection of Irish and Scottish history books. Given that nearly 20 percent of Australians have direct or ancestral ties to Ireland and Scotland, this captivating range is certain to spark interest.
The usual Summer Sale favourites will be there too, including Folio Society editions, modern and classical fiction, an extensive selection of children’s books, and non-fiction spanning food, gardening, languages, art, biology and the environment, biography, history, politics, comics, militaria, and mind, body & spirit.
Plus, don’t miss the LPs, CDs and DVDs, the range of piano and vocal sheet music, and the hugely popular jigsaws.
All funds raised support children in Australia and around the world.
All are welcome at the Save the Children Summer Book Sale. Come along to grow your book collection, discover great reads, and find unique gifts for loved ones!
