Ever wondered where those classic tales of once upon a time actually come to life, minus the dragons and with a lot less drama? It's at the Bunbury Public Library's Storytime sessions, where the mornings turn into a laid-back mix of songs, stories, and craft that even the fussiest toddler might crack a smile for.

These gatherings happen every Friday during the school term at 10.30am in the children's area, welcoming kids along with their parents, grandparents, or whoever's on babysitting duty that day. Expect some nursery rhymes that stick in your head longer than you'd like, a story reading that sparks a bit of imagination, and hands-on craft to keep the little ones busy without turning the place upside down. It's all free, no need to book ahead, just show up ready for some low-key fun on Friday 5 December 2025 from 10.30am to 11am, and again on Friday 12 December 2025 at the same time. The spot is Bunbury Public Library on 2 Parkfield Street, Bunbury WA 6230, Australia, right in the heart of things for locals or a quick drive.
