STEAM Junior is a laid-back session cooked up for little ones aged four to eight, blending science, technology, engineering, art, and maths into something that feels more like playtime than schoolwork. The kids get to muck around with hands-on stuff like whipping up exploding volcanoes that might just erupt with more fizz than expected, stacking towers that could topple in the most spectacular ways, and letting their imaginations run wild without anyone telling them to tidy up right away.

It kicks off on Tuesday 2 December 2025 from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm, then again on Tuesday 9 December and Tuesday 16 December at the same time. You'll find it all happening at Bunbury Public Library on 2 Parkfield Street in Bunbury, Western Australia. It's free, and no need to book, so just rock up if the timing suits.
