If you have a kid aged between 8 and 15 who fancies themselves a bit of a brainiac, or just enjoys making a glorious mess in the name of science, then the Bunbury Library's STEAM Discoverers might just be their cup of tea. It is an after school get together happening every Thursday in September, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Think hands on experiments and activities in the Makerspace area, where they will dabble in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths. Each week is a fresh adventure, from building bridges (hopefully sturdy ones) with Lego to designing things that will not shatter when dropped, or trying to construct the tallest tower known to mankind (or at least Bunbury).

Each Thursday has its own flavour. The first one is a general STEAM session, followed by a dedicated Lego Club on the second Thursday for all those master builders out there. The third Thursday delves into the wonders of Tech, and the fourth is all about getting creative at the Art Club. It is free to join the fun, and you do not even need to book a spot. Just show up at the Bunbury Public Library on Parkfield Street. We are pretty sure it is more exciting than homework.
