If youre around Bunbury in early December, the STEAM Discoverers sessions at the local library might just keep the kids entertained after school without costing you a cent. Its a laidback after-school thing for ages eight to fifteen, held in the Makerspace where they dive into hands-on stuff blending science, technology, engineering, art, and maths. Think of it as a weekly playground for budding inventors, minus the supervision disasters at home.

Each session picks a fresh STEAM angle, like cobbling together Lego bridges that might actually hold weight this time, or crafting a capsule that hopefully survives the drop without turning into modern art. No need to book ahead, just rock up on Thursday 4 December 2025 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, or the following week on 11 December. It all happens at Bunbury Public Library on 2 Parkfield Street, Bunbury WA 6230, Australia.
