Most of us reckon a good book is a ripper way to spend some time. But let us be honest, sometimes getting words to make sense or wrapping your head around new stuff feels like herding cats. Whether life is throwing you curveballs, technology is moving faster than your internet connection, or you simply cannot find a quiet moment away from the kids, getting stuck into reading or learning can feel like a real uphill battle. It is a bit more complicated than just deciding to read, is it not.

Well, if any of that sounds familiar, pop down to the Bunbury Public Library on Tuesday 29 July between 10am and midday. They are having a bit of a low key session for 'Literacy Matters' during Library and Information Week. The friendly crew will be on hand for a casual chat about all the free and low cost bits and bobs they have to help untangle those brain knots. From stories for the rugrats to navigating the digital maze and finding a good e-book, there is usually something for everyone. And best of all, it will not cost you a thing.
