Join us for a crafty day out as we pay tribute to the late Noongar textile artist Marcelle Riley. This isn't just any ordinary workshop; it's a chance to get your hands busy with Noongar artist Geri Hayden and exhibition curator Rachel Riggs as they guide you in the art of making your own healing doll. Bring your memories, family tales, and dreams to life with some simple textile wizardry. Who knew that your inner artist was just a few stitches away?

For just $15 plus some minor fees, you'll have access to all the materials and equipment you'll need. If you've got a personal trinket lying around—maybe an old piece of fabric, some mysterious buttons, or a forgotten piece of jewellery—feel free to toss it into the mix. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery. It's a perfect excuse to get a bit creative and maybe even discover a hidden talent… or at least stitch your way to a good time.
