If you're looking to escape the chilly Bunbury winter on Sunday 24 August 2025, and fancy hearing a few cracking yarns, the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre has something brewing. They're putting on a session titled 'Heroic Battles and Legendary Horsemen' as part of their Winter Warmer series. It's all about the Tenth Light Horse Regiment members, focusing on the folks who not only made a name for themselves in the wars but also left quite the legacy back home. Think of it as a chance to uncover some of Bunbury's less trodden historical paths, all while staying toasty warm.

Word on the street is these Winter Warmer sessions are always a bit different and pretty entertaining, so you won't get bored. For this particular session, you'll be listening to Jeff Pierce and Chris Handley, who are apparently pretty good at digging up these forgotten tales. Best part? It won't cost you a brass razoo to get in, though they do appreciate it if you let them know you're coming. Pop by the Museum at 1 Arthur St between 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM to catch it.
