If youre the type who enjoys knitting or crocheting without the pressure of perfection, or just fancy picking up a new trick while chatting with folks who wont judge your wonky stitches, the Crafty Yarners might be your spot. This laid-back group is open to beginners and pros alike, all abilities welcome, and its a chance to bond over tangled yarns, share a giggle or two, and sip on a cuppa while either tinkering with your own project or lending a hand to some charitable knits for those who could use a cozy boost. No ones in charge in a bossy way; its all self-run and easygoing.

They gather every Tuesday in December at the Bunbury Public Library Refreshments Area, specifically on 2 December 2025 from 12:00 PM to 02:30 PM, then again on 9 December and 16 December with the same hours. The address is 2 Parkfield St, Bunbury WA 6230, Australia, which is right in town so no epic road trip required. Its free to join in, and you dont need to book ahead; just show up with your needles or hooks if youve got them.
