Spring has arrived and the museum is collecting butterflies. Take a template, colour your butterfly however you like and sign your name if you feel like claiming the masterpiece. Add it to our string and we will hang the lot in the museum as a cheerful, slightly chaotic reminder that it is definitely spring. Crayons, felt tips, controlled scribbling and experimental colour combos all welcome.

This is a self paced activity running through the school holidays from 27 September 2025 to 12 October 2025 during opening hours. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. It is free and no bookings are required. Location: Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre, 1 Arthur St, Bunbury WA 6230.
