Grab your walking shoes and a sense of adventure—it's time for the . On June 3rd, from 10 am to 2:30 pm, the City of Bunbury and Yaka Dandjoo Events are teaming up for a day filled with community spirit and a splash of culture. Kick things off at the famous Wardandi Boodja Statue near Koombana Bay. Before we hit the road, enjoy some live tunes, indulge in face painting (because who doesn't want a butterfly on their cheek), and participate in a few other local shenanigans. Just a heads-up—try to roll in early unless you fancy wandering around looking for parking while dodging road closures. And, let's be real, no one wants to be that person who gets caught in the rain without a jacket.
At 11:30 am, we'll set off on our walking adventure along Koombana Drive, crossing the bridge like we own the place, headed for the Graham Bricknell Music Shell. Get ready for a journey steeped in meaning complete with a Smoking Ceremony and some live music to serenade us along the way. We'll be walking as one big happy clan, with similar festivities happening in Boorloo (that's Perth for those not in the know). After all that exertion, we'll unwind at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, celebrating our culture, community, and all that good stuff. So, mark your calendars, bring your friends, and let's make some memories—no tickets required, just your lovely self.
