Fresh off a 10 date European tour that probably involved a lot of bread and cheese, Tom River is bringing his Trio to Froth Bunbury this June before heading off to support South African folk machine Jeremy Loops around AU and NZ. It's the kind of gig where you can bet the room will be quiet enough to hear a guitar string breathe. Supporting are Kiera Jas and Charlie Youngson, which means you get three acts for the price of a decent round.

Tom River is an Australian folk artist and producer from Margaret River, Western Australia, and one half of the internationally touring duo Salt Tree. Where Salt Tree roams, his solo project stays close to home intimate storytelling built on delicate acoustic work, airy harmonies, and subtle pop melodies that carry the weight of years spent performing across Europe and Australia. It's music made for quiet rooms and long drives, unhurried and unguarded, and probably best enjoyed with a beer from the venue. General admission is 24 bucks. The whole thing goes down on Sunday 28 June 2026 at 5 pm at Froth Craft Bunbrewery on 12 Victoria Street in Bunbury. No need to dress up, just show up.
