Night Sky Talk for Kids [Withers]

Suzanne from Starbright Wonderland Photography is hosting a chat about the night sky that's actually aimed at kids, so no boring lectures. She'll guide them through a story based approach to figure out what's visible from Bunbury on that exact night, which beats trying to read a generic star chart. It's for children aged 6 to 12, so you can bring the ones who haven't yet developed a full on cynicism about the universe. And it's free, so you won't need to raid the piggy bank, just cover the petrol.

The event happens on Wednesday 8 July 2026 from 1pm to 2pm at Withers Library, 33 Hudson Road in South Bunbury. Because it's a free event you'll need to book a spot, otherwise you might end up staring at the ceiling instead of the stars. Don't forget to bring the kids, but leave the astro apps at home.
