Friday the 10th of July 2026 from two till three in the afternoon, the Withers Community Library on Hudson Road in South Bunbury is hosting a felt trinket dish workshop. It is exactly what it sounds like, you get some soft colourful felt and a needle and thread, then you wrestle it into a bowl shape to hold all your small precious things. Maybe that is your jewellery, maybe it is those LEGO pieces you keep finding with your bare feet, or maybe it is a collection of lucky stones you have been lugging around since year three. Either way you get to design and sew something that is all yours, and nobody can tell you it is wonky because wonky is character.

This session is free, aimed at kids aged six and up, and spaces are tighter than your grandma's jar lids. So you have to book. It is a basic sewing gig so no prior experience needed, just a willingness to poke felt with a needle for an hour. Perfect school holiday nonsense without the marketing fuss. Just show up, make a felt dish, and go home with a new home for your odds and ends.
