Get ready for an afternoon of culture that won't put you to sleep. On January 18, 2025, swing by the Bunbury Regional Art Gallery for an encore performance of "The Deep Green Sea." This event is a delightful mashup of Kelsey Ashe's vivid screenprints and an odd yet fascinating Antipodean Butoh performance, which is basically an avant-garde Japanese dance that feels like a trip through a dream – or a weird night out in Bunbury, depending on your perspective.

Choreographed by Rachael Kostusik (who goes by Rei, because why not?), the Dark Morning Butoh Theatre will be doing their thing while sporting costumes designed by Molly Ryan. You'd think it can't get any better, but it does. There's live music from Dark Swan Studios, which means you'll be fully immersed in a creative wave of art and sound.
