So Cael McLeish is having another birthday, and instead of quietly accepting a card and a mediocre cake, he's doing what any sensible musician does: throwing a loud, personal, slightly chaotic party and making everyone else do the work. The Cael McLeish Band will be playing a set of original tunes, which means you get the fan favourites, whatever new stuff he's cooked up, and probably a few deep cuts from old bands that he insists were influential but no one else remembers. It's the sort of night where the guitars are big, the songs were never meant to stay quiet, and the only requirement is that you show up.

Maya Ixchell and Ornella are along for the ride as supports, so there's a solid evening of live music ahead. It all goes down on Friday 17 July 2026 at Froth Craft Bunbury on Victoria Street. Doors at 7:30pm. And because Cael is generous or just wants a full room, it's free entry. No ticket, no stress, just come celebrate another trip around the sun with some loud guitars and songs that probably should have stayed quiet but didn't.
